I’m Artur Hammerschmidt, a business owner and AI consultant with escape room businesses of my own in Leipzig and Hanover. The systems I recommend run there every day: on the phone, in shift planning and in bookings. Escape Leipzig is at Burgstraße 2, 04109 Leipzig, in the city centre by Thomaskirchhof, and has been open since 2018. Escape Hannover has been in the Tiedthof at Goseriede 4, 30159 Hannover, right in the city centre, since 2022. Both offer escape rooms and VR escape rooms, and both are my own businesses.

Day to day, AI does real work there. A phone AI answers every call around the clock and handles standard questions from approved knowledge, while special cases go to my team. The AutoPlaner assigns shifts according to fixed rules and availability, and bookings run through a booking system of my own. A person checks guest emails before they are sent.

Before the phone AI, around 70% of calls to my businesses went unanswered. In your company, we start in the same place: with the routine that takes up your team’s time.

We start with a free introductory call of up to 30 minutes by video. We discuss your situation and a useful next step. You then receive a proposal with a fixed scope before any paid work begins.

Meetings in Leipzig or Hanover are arranged separately. Everything else runs online with screen sharing, in English or German, for clients worldwide.

AI prepares the research, analyses and drafts; I check them against how your business actually works. The decisions stay with you and your team, and you learn to review the results yourselves.

Can we work together in English in Leipzig or Hanover?

Yes. I advise in English or German, whichever suits your team better. You can meet me in person in Leipzig or Hanover by arrangement, since my own businesses take me to both cities regularly. The introductory call and most working sessions run by video call with screen sharing, which also suits international teams.

Can I try the phone AI in English?

Do you only work with companies in Leipzig and Hanover?

No. Most projects run online by video call, for clients worldwide. Leipzig and Hanover are where I can also meet you in person, as is Nienburg, where my company is based. Wherever you are, we start with a free introductory call of up to 30 minutes and then agree on a fixed scope.

Will AI process our company’s data?

Only if we have agreed on it beforehand. You decide which data are accessible, what an assistant may do on its own and when a person takes over. Accounts are in your name, and we clarify data flows, access rights and data protection agreements before we start. In my own businesses, data access and approvals also depend on the task.

Website and hosting

The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit, technical request data such as your IP address, time, requested address, browser information and response status are processed to deliver the website and protect its operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website. According to STRATO, visitor IP addresses are retained for detecting and preventing attacks for a maximum of seven days. See STRATO's information on hosting data.

Cookies, fonts and analytics

This website does not set cookies or use browser storage, analytics, advertising trackers or externally loaded fonts. Images, fonts and scripts are served from this website. No AI system processes your visit or form entries on this website.

Contact and enquiry form

The enquiry forms on this website only send your details when you click the submit button. The details are then transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our web server at STRATO and forwarded from there directly by email to Artur Hammerschmidt. The content is not stored permanently on the web server; only the technical access data of the hosting described above applies. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding).

To protect against automated submissions, the form contains a field that is invisible to people and checks how long it took to fill in. The server also limits the number of enquiries per hour. For this, it stores the time and a shortened, pseudonymised check value of your IP address (with a key that changes daily). Entries are ignored after one hour and deleted with the next enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No cookies are set and no third-party services are involved for this protection. The “Copy email address” button only places our address in your device’s clipboard on request. Please do not enter passwords or confidential customer data.

If you email us, we process your contact details and message to respond or prepare a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for other enquiries, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our email service uses STRATO. Messages are deleted when the enquiry and any related work are complete and no legal retention duties or legitimate need to preserve evidence apply.

Personal review and AI assistance with emails

Artur Hammerschmidt personally reviews incoming enquiries first. The mailbox is not processed automatically by AI. After reviewing an enquiry, he may use AI to help draft a response. He remains responsible for handling the enquiry and sending the reply.

Scheduling and external links

The booking link opens a Google Calendar page only when you click it. No Google resources are loaded beforehand. Google processes the data you enter under its own privacy notice; processing outside the EU cannot be ruled out. We use the appointment details to prepare and conduct the requested call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may email us instead. Appointment data are deleted when no longer needed, subject to applicable retention duties. Links to Escape Universe and other practice examples also open independent websites with their own privacy notices. The phone assistant number belongs to Escape Leipzig, where an AI assistant answers. The privacy notice of Escape Leipzig applies to the call.

Your rights

Where the legal conditions apply, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Any consent can be withdrawn for the future. Contact us at the email address above. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Lower Saxony Commissioner for Data Protection.

The WhatsApp link opens an external service only when you click it. WhatsApp Ireland Limited processes contact and usage data under its own privacy policy; processing outside the EU is possible. We use messages to respond to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on the purpose). You may use email or telephone instead.
